Day Trip to Salt Lake City Museum
Organized by the Ascension Historical Society (AHS), twenty-seven "jet setters" and our two parish-priests flew from Oakland, California, to Salt Lake City, Utah, for a one day visit in 1997.
This is a distance of about 1,500 miles round-trip.
We were met and hosted regally by members of the Hellenic Cultural Association (HCA) of Salt Lake City.
The purpose of our trip was to tour the first Hellenic Cultural Museum in the U.S.A.
