Affiliate of AHI

The American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) is an affiliate organization of the American Hellenic Institute (AHI), which works to provide a joint program for strengthening United States relations with Greece and Cyprus and within the American Hellenic community.

According to the AHIF web-page about its own origins, The American Hellenic Institute Foundation, Inc. (AHIF), established in 1975, is a … non-profit tax-exempt educational and research organization and is the first 'think tank' devoted exclusively to the study of the issues confronting the Greek American community.

While we probably should not describe the AHIF as a regional group per se for the preservation of local history, the AHIF is included here particularly because of the foundation's presentation of annual conferences for The Future of Hellenism in America.

Annual Conferences

Concentrating on national and international dimensions, the American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) presents an annual conference for The Future of Hellenism in America. Looking ahead, these conferences express some vital insights into the history on a national level as well as some important insights into current affairs.

A list of the AHIF annual conferences — with links to reprinted press releases and news articles — has been compiled here by PAHH for reference in history studies.
