- Showcasing the Greek culture and tracing the Kansas Greek community from the 1900's to the present, "Greek Heritage in the Heartland" is a traveling exhibit created by the Heartland Orthodox Christian Museum in Topeka.
- The exhibit features the Greek culture in the Kansas City area, the communities throughout Kansas, immigration to the area beginning in the early 20th Century as well as examining the customs, food and dress with a focus on the central role of the Greek Orthodox Church.
- "Greek Heritage in the Heartland" is part of the Kansas Interpretive Traveling Exhibit Program which is sponsored by the Kansas State Historical Society and the Kansas Humanities Council and is supplemented with artifacts borrowed from members of the Johnson County Greek community.
- A great exhibit for all ages!
